a couple things to note regarding this video... the object she is holding was her very first "real" craft. A sheep made from cotton balls and a styrofoam cup. It used to be cute. The sheep's ears came off just prior to the making of this video and are lying in the background by the phone and the vase.
Speaking of the vase, shortly after completing this video, an accidental incident sent the vase to the floor, spraying the entire kitchen table/floor with shards of glass. No one was hurt. :)
And for the record, despite what the video shows, she does actually know all her letters, what sounds they make, the alphabet song (though L-P are always run together), and she can count to 20. Unfortunately, she hasn't mastered the fine art of multi-tasking.

Mattie at 3 months
So, here are some recent pics of Mattie. She makes me laugh.
She has NO interest in a pacifier. She has thought about finding a finger to suck on. Here she is testing a few....

she really just likes blankets. this is her in the swing. she likes to be all snuggled up and the she pulls some blankie right by her face just before falling asleep. she does this in the car seat too.
she also has a strange obsession with her tongue. She always sticks it out on the same side, and recently began chewing on it.
her other interests include sitting up, (rolled over once. really doesn't try anymore. she just crunches all up and tries to sit up) and playing patty-cake or pat-a-cake or whatever its called. she laughs a lot. here's proof.
sorry some of them are sideways. i usually rotate them and then insert them into blogger (can you do it once you're in blogger??)... but i'm in a hurry because both girls are anti-naps today and both are crying. oh well. at least you'll have something new to look at! :)
